The voluntary work of Danilo Benatov, a lecturer at our faculty, has been recognised with a certificate from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This prestigious parliamentary award is a testament to his tremendous hard work, resilience and compassion.
With the start of full-scale war, Danylo Benatov took the lead in coordinating the international volunteer project ‘Help Ukraine’. The initiative brought together benefactors from many corners of the world, including Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, USA, Canada, Kazakhstan and the UK. A significant core of the team consisted of students from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. During its active period, the project channelled material support over 300,000 euros to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard.
